Make a difference on company time

Paid volunteering

We encourage our employees to lend support to the programs that enrich the quality of life in our communities. That’s why we give our employees paid volunteer time each year. It fits in with our values — and, we hope it fits with yours as well.

Ways we help

Some of the volunteer requests we’ve approved include:

  • Chaperoning a class field trip
  • Easter Seals
  • Toys for Tots
  • Junior Achievement
  • The ALS Association
  • Midwest Food Banks
  • St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
  • Tazewell Animal Protective Society (TAPS)
  • YWCA
  • Christian Life Academy
  • Mason County 4-H
  • Mission trips
  • Tremont Turkey Festival

This week at Pekin Insurance is “Employee Appreciation Week.” It is a way the company celebrates employee contributions to our success.

This year’s theme is “We rise by lifting each other UP.” Pekin Insurance wants to make sure that each employee is taking care of their physical, mental, and emotional wellness, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Employees will have the opportunity to “virtually walk” to and from each of our service offices across the country. We will keep you updated on our progress, as well as some of the other fun activities in store for the week.
